I've heard a lot of things about the students who go there. Are they true?

Is there are place for every kind of person there, and are there many friendly and accepting students?

Because when I see pictures of the school with the students, I usually see just one kind.

Are you talking about advertisement pictures? I figured all schools used the wholesome-looking kids for those.

No, the whole student body in general.

I meant, are the “pictures” you’re talking about advertisement pictures? Just pointing out that those are usually biased to one type of student (usually the type that the parents want their student surrounded by).

I can see that. Are there a lot of other kinds than in the pictures?

You would be very well served by a visit to the campus. As stated you have heard things and possibly they are very one sided and not always accurate. Thousands of students attend this University every year so I imagine you will find a very diverse fluid campus. In addition the University is located in one of the most diverse large cities in America.

There’s no space left in the multicultural event thing, and I can’t go on April 9th for the visiting day because I’m going to the one at UC Santa Barbara.
