How many people did you room with (single, double, triple?), what was the basic layout, and what were the sq footage/basic dimensions?

I just received my room layout, and I was curious as to how it stacked up with others. I know dorm rooms aren't supposed to be large, so I'm not trying to complain or something. Just curious! :)

My room is a "2 room double" (what exactly does that mean? Have you heard of it before?), 22x13 with a partition cutting it in half.

My room is 214 sqft and it’s a two-person dorm. I think it’s really more like 196 sqft, because our closets are like in a little alcove thingy.

The rooms is my dorm range from 164 sqft to 366 sqft and they’re all two-person dorms. The sizes are really random, because the dorm originally was traditional style and was built in the 30’s, but then was upgraded to suite style. My suitemate’s room is 250 sqft, so there’s is quite a bit larger than mine.

We have closets, dressers, and desks… I don’t know how we’re going to fit all of that and I’ve been told that most people in my dorm tend to bunk their beds, though I’m heavily considering lofting mine and that should alleviate some of the space. I’m still a little uncertain as to why we have closets and dressers (especially seeing as how we apparently have the largest closets on campus), but I’m not complaining. lol

My dorm was a double (although the singles were the same size). My building was a converted hotel, so the rooms were decent size and included a kitchenette, bathroom, and balcony.
The room was shaped weird (almost like a U shape) so I couldn’t even begin to give dimensions.

If I get in the dorm I put down as first choice, it will be 10x15 feet. Yeah, really small. Freshman dorms suck, but they get better after freshman year.
