<p>THE SLIP IS AMAZING! I saw them live once... incredible. However, I don't think their sounds transfers as well to their albums. This isn't their fault; it is merely the product of their song style, which is very climactic, and a lot of the intensity and climax is lost on a CD. Some acts are more or less equally good on recordings and live, but The Slip is much better live and slightly lacking on recordings.</p>

<p>I go to a lot of shows, but Arcade Fire still blew me away. Their show is by far the best show I have ever been to. I have seen them twice (and once was in a really small venue, before the made it "big"), and they were honestly the most transcendent moments of my life. <p>none taken. is it really the first stupid song you've heard, tho? 'coz i find most songs in most genres pretty pointless, but does that really matter? i listen to music for the music, not so much the lyrics, i guess.</p>
