I am beginning to look at several different business schools. I have been looking at Ohio State, Indiana, Texas, Wisconsin and several others. I am a sophomore in high school, have a 3.6 GPA, play baseball, and a member of 5 clubs. I am thinking about pursuing a career in either sports marketing or being a sports agent. What business colleges do you recommend for me?

Well, you seem to like the Buckeyes. I’d go to Ohio State then. Heh. Otherwise if it were my choice out of those schools you listed, I would go to Texas.

Indiana has one of the best sports marketing programs in the nation. It isn’t in the business school, but there are a lot of required business classes. Also, Oregon is very good in sports marketing as well.

I’m not familiar with sports management programs at any university, but Texas’ business school really stands out among these. It would also be safe to say Indiana is the second best. Like I said, I’m not very familiar with that major itself, but I know the Texas Longhorns are the most valuable team in college athletics, so even if you ended up majoring in something marketing (it’s only the third best marketing program in the nation) you might have a shot at interning or something with the athletics department there, which would be an amazing experience.
