What can you do with a Philosophy Major/Minor?

I am considering a minor, but not a major.

Just curious. I love Philosophy though.

Law School. Thats pretty much all I know. Philosophy is widly seen as the best major to have to go to Law school

Nothing. Just kidding. I shouldn’t say there isn’t much, because if you work hard, get good grades, and are a little lucky, then you as a person>major. Philosophy would be good for law school (^), but that’s about it right off the bat. Whatever happens, do what you love & love what you do & you will always come out on top.

Philosophy is a liberal arts major. As such, it fosters the sort of writing, analytical thinking, and other skills common to a liberal education. It provides the same types of BA-level job opportunities available to other liberal arts majors.

Graduate fields: Philosophy, History & Philosophy of Science, Bioethics, Religious Studies, Classics (if you combined philosophy + classics), history (intellectual history), certain aspects of medieval and renaissance studies, certain aspects of comparative literature (if you also studied languages and literature), certain aspects of political science (history of political thought), certain areas of cognitive science, certain areas of linguistics, Asian Studies (Asian Philosophy, if you also studied relevant languages), certain areas of psychology (history of psychology, philosophical psychology)
