I am a business student currently enrolled at a large state school. Though I have yet to formally declare my major, marketing is the area I am interested in. I've been thinking of transferring for strictly non-academic reasons, and someone suggested I look into Parsons because of their design-oriented marketing degree.

To get things straight, I am by no means an art student. However, I am a fashion addict and my goal is to be involved with the fashion industry somehow, hopefully through marketing, etc.

For those of you familiar with the program, would it be a good fit for a student like myself? I'm open to trying everything, however, I can't kid myself into thinking that design is my thing. I'm just not artistic enough. But, the Parsons name and the edge it might give me into my chosen industry intrigues me. Basically - is this a real marketing degree? Or do I need to be art/design savvy to attend?

Thanks for the help!
