What careers have high satisfaction rates?

<p>It may be that liberal arts majors are more common at more selective schools because:</p>

<p>a. Graduating from a more selective (prestigious) school may be enough of an attraction to some employers by itself, regardless of major (finance and consulting are the usual examples, though this effect is less in other fields).</p>

<p>b. Students at more selective schools are more likely to be from wealthy and better connected families who can be of more assistance in finding internships and post-graduation jobs.</p>

<p>At less selective schools, pre-professional majors are more common.</p>
