What classes do you kick butt in?

AP Calc/Chem.

English, English, English.
I also read a lot on subjects that interest me, so anything where we cover something which is related to some random tidbit I read somewhere I just shoot it out and it helps.
I got straight 100s in Spanish two years in a row and my teacher was obsessed with me (partly because nobody else in the class gave a hoot about the subject), but that is not exactly where my heart lies.
Besides English, my real butt-kicker is history. I was one of the three or so kids who got the highest score on AP Euro in my grade, and I’ve just always found it interesting.
Hijacking this thread a moment, anyone ever found that being a butt-kicker can be a disadvantage? That teachers think you’re a smart aleck and find you irrritating? I used to have that all the time in history in elem.

AP Chem, bruh.

APUSH!!! History of all kinds.

@HannahBannana…teachers never get annoyed (at least, not that I can ever tell), but last year, I was in a couple classes with kids who
d constantly ask what I got for classwork and I
d give them answers…and it was a curse to be smart…honestly…because I
d only have 5 minutes to get my work done before it would be, “Hey! What did you get for numbers…” I was lucky the classes were a breeze, because it was very distracting to have people always ask me for the answer. And I didn
t want to say no because it wasn
t like they were jerks or mean or anything. But this year it
s whole lot better. Thank gosh.

Last year, I had a perfect 100 in gym/pool all 4 quarters, even though I didn’t really like that class. I had a 100 in French for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarter, a 100 in studio art 1st, 2nd, 3rd quarter, and 100 in Global History the 3rd quarter. I really like French.

Chemistry and Calculus are my things :D. I love those classes and I always do way better in classes I enjoy. Well… I got a 100 in Physics, but that class was just super boring and easy Dx

I’m horrible in English though, I don’t know how I manage to keep an A in that class every year!

English, History, Science and Spanish.
I’m TERRIBLE at Math

If GPA was solely based on Calculus, Physics, and Government (this guy is the odd one out for some reason, I actually don’t like the class that much) percentages, then the competition would be entirely different.

Currently rank 1 in Calculus BC with only a 96.5% (2 of the percent lost is from hideously dumb mistakes such as stapling a test the wrong way or simplifying more than I need to and messing up, etc)

If you look at my non-English stuff, you’d assume I was good at English too. But I’m not. It’s a nightmare with straight B’s.

AP Literature, for sure.

My teacher is a notoriously tough grader and gave me an 8/9 on my first ever AP style essay (I always took honors up until this year). Today, she told me I have a “gift”, haha. I really do enjoy writing, though! And I can analyze texts really easily… I find symbols and deep meanings within texts naturally.

I <3 reading. :]

I kicked Campbell’s a** in AP Biology, baby.

The Arts! primarily graphic design and advanced advertising  I’ve been declared as the school’s best student designer and it feels great!

AP Lunch =] I eat like no other.

jk, it’d be any math or science class.

Hello, can I take Ap Cal w/o taking Pre-cal. Isn’t pre-cal and Alg2/Trig the same thing?
I heard Alg 2 /Trig is more indepth. Please help me.

Definintely US History since it’s my only Honors class. Second would be Mandarin 2, sicne I am fluent in that language. And third would be Algebra 2 (I should be in Calculus right now, but because I didnt take school so seriously during my freshmen and sophmore year, I was behind in math). For these three classes, I didn’t even have to study. I got a 95%, 98.4%, 99.2% respectively for these classes. As for my harder classes such as AP , I am currently at borderline B for AP Bio. Ap Lang, however, is a total pain in the ass! I got a 85% and probably lower because of that practice essay we did in class.

For me, English has always been were I shine the brightest. Sadly I had already passed out of all the english classes and decided to start over from the beginning. So now i finish all my work before class is over and end up sitting there bored. (>-<)/

AP Biology. I received a 97% in that class, much to the envy of my classmates, all of whom received no higher than a 90%.

All my teachers actually really like me. My best subjects last year were German and Forensic Science, Sophomore year they were German and Algebra II, freshman year it was German and and English. So far this year it seems to be AP English Lit and a tie between French and German.

Haha, for me it’s always been English and Mandarin.
I think next semester it’ll be Psychology, as well.

Uh, none…my school doesn’t condone violent actions such as “kicking butt”. :)

On a more serious note, my best subject would probably either physics/chemistry. I’m by NO means a prodigy in either, but I enjoy both subjects and have historically done well in them.
