Least:
I absolutely despise UIUC's website. It's confusing and has a really funked out layout on the main page. The information is all quite vague as well. Plus, they chose horrible pictures for the little slide show on the main page. That smiling Asian girl in the third picture really gets on my nerves.

Favorite:
Valparaiso University has a very pretty, as well as easy to navigate page. It makes the school seem warm and inviting. The links are clearly marked, and easy to use.

MIT is probably the best designed that I've seen... you would think so, being a Tech school and all.

But Stanford is my favorite... because I just go there and look at the pictures and slideshows of sunny California when I lose motivation to do my essays

i hate stanford's website... u have to get all the info from ur college dept. i hate going in there by the way how do u get stanford's app. essay (they use common app. as well as their own but i cant find it)

As for my least favorite, I really don't know... I only ever look at colleges that I might want to apply to, so I'm already biased in their favor. But most other websites that I've seen are pretty annoying to navigate and/or boring. Before I saw MIT's website, I thought that's how college websites had to be. :p

MIT has a really cool website, but I think UCR has the nicest looking site with more useful information than any university. It also has loads of interaction, slideshows, and info slides. UCSD's site gives me the shivers since it is so lifeless. I design websites for extra money, and I know a horrid site when I see one.

MIT's is amazing. I love how the "mit" letters are hidden in thev front page photo every day. Even the departmental websites are mostly well-designed, which is rare. (well, a few are still eyesores, but most of them are nice.)

Before the redesign Oberlin's was the worst, but now it is quite good.
