What colleges had the best and worst tours you've been on?

For me so far
Best: Tufts
Worst: Dartmouth

Worst: Middlebury (vapid tour guide, giggled much, said little - still liked the school though), UConn (tour is just aimed at a different type of student than me)
Best: Swarthmore, Williams

I’m usually most impressed by when freshmen give tours, as they don’t sound as brutally polished and produced.

Worst: NYU, Lehigh
Best: Penn

worst: BU, because the guy swore he was a “New Yorker” and was “too cool for school”, when the truth was he was from Westchester Co. and was very antisocial and told horrible jokes. Then there was this guy who seemed to be visiting from India just to visit BU, and he stood in the front and practically blocked everyone’s view.
best: dartmouth, because the tour guide offered for us to his email so if we have any questions, we’d be able to feel free to personally contact him (never have I seen this in all 10 tours)

NYU wasn’t bad, but since it’s just walking around the area it does not feel so exciting. Depends a lot on the weather, too.

My favourite one was Fordham because it was as self-guided tour.

Best: Duke, Yale
Worst: Harvard

Nothing about Harvard was all that attracting. The guy showed us 2 places and always had this apathetic stuck up attitude.
