if you’re interested in marine and/or environmental biology i would still recommend USC. for bio majors interested in that area of biology, we have a semester program where you live at the wrigley institute located on catalina island off of the coast of california. you get to do all sorts of cool stuff, like perform directed research.

@ fallenchemist: Thanks for the input I think I will probably be applying to Tulane. Out of all the schools that have emailed me, I think they have emailed me the most x) It looks like a very nice school and it would be nice to be able to minor in marine biology. I will also check out Miami and UCSD.
@josebiwasabi: Wow, the USC Wrigley Institute semester sounds really cool! I’m definitely considering applying to USC, but I would have to get a lot of merit aid to go there.

yeah, USC seems like a high match for you, and Tulane and Miami are almost safeties (as safe as a top 50 school can be). I think you might get very good aid from USC with your 35. Your life truly has changed with those four little points. And THIS is exactly why preparing for standardized tests is important.

Thanks for the input again Dunnin.

I asked my mom how much her and my dad would be willing to spend per year for college for my brother and I and she said she wasn’t sure…

Hmm… What would you guys think about me potentially applying to Duke? It looks like they have good marine biology. How much of a reach would it be for me? What kind of financial aid do they give?

Thanks for the helpful link Erin’s Dad : )
