What constitutes an art supplement?

<p>I've read that the art supplement you can submit to a college can vary from paintings to music to dance videos, etc. So I was just wondering if a piece of writing (a fictional short story) would possibly count as an art supplement? Most of the schools I'm applying to have little or no information on their sites about this. Could anyone help me out? Thanks!</p>

<p>Do NOT put a piece of writing in an Art Supplement, as schools are looking for examples of “fine arts” in the Art Supplement. Your writing could be part of supplemental material that some colleges accept. See:
