what country in Europe for engineering??

hi
I didn't want to ask another question in the same last topic :)
if you have the chance to study engineering in Europe ,what country you will go for it?
is it UK or Germany ?? what about France?
when you write your opinion please tell me why.

best;

I’d personally go to the UK (e.g. Imperial College London, Cambridge, etc.), Germany (e.g. University of Göttingen, TU München, TU Darmstadt, etc.) or the Netherlands (e.g. TU Delft). That’s just me though, and that is not an exhaustive list in any of those countries.

They speak English in the UK, so I’d probably go there. After that, Germany.

Why not the US? The US is known to have the best universities in the world. Why do you think so many things were invented in the US?

I would go to Spain or Germany. Spain definitely and I most likey will choose Spain to study in.

Hubris much?

Hey, facts are facts. For a long time, Europeans (mainly the English and the Germans) dominated science, engineering, and innovation. Now, we are in a period where those things are dominated by Americans. I’ve asked international students (in particular non-Asians) why they study engineering in the US, and they are quite frank about this. They don’t feel the need to shrink away from what everybody knows just because it may come across as…whatever.

Best in the world does not make a university the best for any one specific student. There are plenty of reasons to attend university within a particular region.

Read some of the OP’s other posts and you will see why, though I thought he had already decided on Germany.

@YYaaSSeeRR - You need to start doing your own analysis on the pros/cons of your different options. Keep in mind there is no single “right” answer. So, enough futzing around…make a decision.

All the best, and come back in a year and let us know how things are going.

:) I understand you.

will do it. :D
