What courses are you taking in the Spring?

^^^Tough time getting into those classes?

Yes, nikkei, no bueno. But it turned out ok, I managed to find a class.

waaaaaat r yoo taking elk111?

Elk...man, that just ruined my day. Kinda. Check your PM box ennelime.

^

Mmmm...Berry Lime Sublime from Jamba Juice.

I had the most dramatic second pass enrollment earlier today.

so im doing GE cluster seminar, and there were 2 seminars open. one was monday at 9 am at public policy with an unknown teacher, couldnt get worse. another was friday at 3 pm, not the best time but way better than monday morning. the teacher is also really easy in that one.

the monday one has only like 7 people in it for obvious reasons. by my second pass, the friday one had 20/21. i stood there at URSA 10 minutes before my time, constantly freshing. at ONE SECOND after the time I enrolled, and I saved my schedule, my social life, and my sleeping habits.

now i have no class before noon. mondays are off.

i can envision you clicking the refresh button...anyhow, good job.

yeah refresh button is my best buddy
same for you it seems..

I guess...I'm not complaining. Yet.

blah. the mass comm class i NEED TO GRADUATE was already completely filled through the waiting list before my second pass which was 7:30AM on MARCH 2ND.

Going to have to beg and plead.

Econ 41 Stats
Econ 101 Microeconomic Theory
Music 15 Art of Listening (GE)
Management 19 Fiat Lux

allie why didnt you put it first past if you NEED it :)

because i used my priority to get the disney class which closed after a day (and didnt have a waitlist) and the last spot in the honors class that i also need (which also didnt have a waitlist). the comm class had 85 spots plus 15 on the waitlist so i thought i'd be fine, especially with such an early 2nd pass day. clearly i was wrong. but oh well. i'll get in.

they actually doubled the disney class en-cap now... =S

yeah bc there was a tooooon of demand. that sucks though. i like 50 person classes.

so THATS why they changed the room...
dangit if i knew they were gonna double it, i woulda dropped it, gotten on the french 3 waitlist, and reenrolled.
it sucks, not being psychic xD

yeah i like 50 person classes too... so much that i will take a GE class that nobody likes/wants so that i can get smaller lectures, rooms, and discussions... i wanted to take phil22 but 2-300 people talking about ethics? the environment doesn't seem right for that type of class. of course they won't be discussing it but i would think that a class like that would be built towards seminar-style just because of the nature of the course largestateschoolsdaoisajdas... bwhatevewhatever... Yes, I know that is why we have discussion sections and even office hours but it.just.doesnt.seem.RIGHT. /rant

yeah i need some more small classesss...mustdiscussstalkmulloverideas and comb through topics rather than be spoonfed information aznd regurgitate on exams without having a really clear understanding (example: gibson's ls1 and spitting out random disjointed facts from slidess)... thorough.... clear... understanding vs. learning for grades...
