Hi! I was wondering what types of courses that I should take in college in order to get a degree in genetics. I am hoping to have a job working with the genome project. I am currently a junior in high school and I am debating what college I should go to.

How are you doing in Bio/Chem/Physics/Math now?

Check this Michigan State link:

^^^

Good question…

What are your stats (GPA, SAT, ACT)?

If you haven’t taken the SAT or ACT, what was your PSAT?

What is your resident state?

How much can your parents afford to pay for your education?

I’m asking because if you’re not “in-state” for a public school like Mich St, the cost to attend (COA) as a non-resident will be about $40k per year. And, public state schools do not give Financial Aid to Out of State students to meet those OOS costs.

However, if you have high stats, some state schools might give you a merit scholarship.
