What did you do to get into Stanford?

<p>I didn’t do anything just to get accepted into Stanford. I did things because I enjoyed doing them.</p>

<p>I was in 1-2 clubs in HS, didn’t win any major awards, held no leadership positions, not URM (asian)</p>

<p>I had good grades, and focused on my passions (computer stuff, learning new languages, helping others). </p>

<p>I wasn’t rejected from any colleges which I applied to. List included schools like Cornell, JHU, Northwestern, Harvey Mudd. Waitlisted at MIT.</p>

<p>The most important thing is to <em>do what you enjoy doing</em>. I know this is quite overstated, but it really does hold truth.</p>
