here's my list, everything from my family (parents and grandparents)

seasons 1&2 od Mad Men on DVD (very happy with this, but doubt i'll have time to watch it lol)

The Sims 3 (probably the worst present... I don't play games much and a game on life is just ugh)

a black burberry belt (love it!!)

a Versace sweater (well it's versace but honestly the design is just meh)

3 D&G underwear (love it!!)

my family opens presents after christmas dinner and I’m an international student (Belgian)

got my mom a swarovski bracelet and my dad a cologne (forgot which one…), didn’t get any other members of family anything since I don’t really want to spend more than 200$ on stuff for other people lol.

All I know for sure is a Sony A230 dSLR. The rest I’ll figure out tomorrow. The only things I really wanted were (in order): a car, a camera and a Zune HD. And CoD Modern Warfare 2 (which I got today).

I got my dad The Wizard of Oz on blu-ray, my mom a few books on photography and a mug painted by me, and my girlfriend a few books on drawing comics and a drawing kit (she loves drawing).

@LogicWarrior different families have different traditions. Some open presents on the Eve, some open them Christmas morning, some open them later in the day.

Well Christmas isn’t that big in my family anymore since I started high school. I don’t know what I want that I just considered what I needed in the past few days as a Christmas gift. So the list consists of Windows 7 and a Logitech High Performance Mouse. I seriously could care less about Christmas nowadays… I know it’s sad but yeah… I never got my parents a serious gift since I never had a job, but I plan on getting them one next year since I will have a job this summer.

My mom and dad are divorced and her parents are dead, so we’re (my sister and I) are the only presents she gets. So we make a huge effort to make her Christmas nice every year. We got her a Cashmere blanket, a set of 4 W

I’m getting a PS3, NCAA 2010 and a Jared Allen jersey.

I got my dad a new basketball (we play basketball a lot and the one he has is at least 5 years old and is basically falling apart) and for my mom I got a hold of a ton of our home VHS videos from when I was younger, ripped them onto my computer and put them on DVDs.

I’m getting an acceptance packet to Emory for transfer admission (it’s already been confirmed, and the rep. told me that the packet is in the mail).

I seriously didn’t ask for anything at all this year; all I wanted was to get out of my current school, which I hate.

LOL. I just had a conversation with someone about those things last night. I personally think they make you look like you’re in a cult (have you seen the part of the commercial where everyone is wearing those things outside at a soccer game?) It’s cool if you like them, but I think my bathrobe is pretty much the same thing.

I honestly get kind of spoiled for Christmas, considering that I’m 20 and my older siblings didn’t really get a Christmas when they were this old. My mom’s not ready to give up Christmas yet though, and I’m not complaining about it.

From my parents, I got a spring coat, Dead Like Me Seasons 1 and 2, Buffy season 7, Firefly (which I wouldn’t have allowed her to buy me all of if TV DVDs weren’t buy one get one free at FYE), a bunch of t-shirts, a belt, two eyebrow rings, a hoodie, pajamas, and some lotto tickets. My favorite new t-shirt has a really cute looking ninja on it and says, “Awesome ninja skills. I have them.” which is both awesome and ironic because I’m f-ing clumsy.

I feel kind of guilty because I’m really probably too old for mom to be spending this much on me for Christmas. I suppose I kind of make up for it because she doesn’t have to pay for my college, but still. Either way, I really enjoy Christmas because what I get always seems to show how much my mother really gets me, plus this year I shopped for my little brother for her and it was cool to see his face light up when he opened presents I picked out. Oh, and I learned that he will get super excited about a nerf gun, but it’s still a really annoying gift to give him.

For my parents, I got my mom a satin hands kit from Mary Kay because when she got a sample from my aunt, she really liked it. I got my dad a basket with all of his favorite candies and some snacks, as well as some scratch-off lotto tickets, though he got pretty much all losers, which is unfortunate.

I really wanted a particular DSLR even though I knew the price was out of the question. Somehow my mom usually has a surprising way with coming through with unexpected things, but I guess it just didn’t happen this year. I feel bad for even wanting it this bad, but I still do. I won’t be a brat though, I’m content.

I got a digital camera for christmas! I really needed one because the quality of pictures from my cell phone sucks and I needed some other way to document my college years haha

My mom routinely spoils us on christmas, and has my dad convinced all kids get as much as we do, I am not allowed to tell him otherwise. Supposedly we got less this year but I do not believe it. I love my mommy. :)

I got my parents some clothes, some personalized coffee mugs, and I got my mom a Michigan parent license plate frame-- kind of an inside joke, she lost my honor roll sticker in middle school and I was never on the honor roll again, so I told her this “ultimate honor roll sticker” is her replacement. And I got my sister a book. College students “aren’t allowed” to buy gifts in my family so I didn’t get anything for anybody else, my mom just put my name on the gifts to the other family members.

I got an LSAT prep book, the new moon soundtrack and a new moon throw pillow, two pairs of fleece pants, two hoodies, all of the harry potter DVDs (my mom found them for $7 each), revolutionary road and bride wars on dvd, the complete first season of the nanny, $50 amazon gift card for ebooks for my new kindle, some underwear (also an inside joke), annnnd I think that’s it. That’s from my parents, sisters, grandparents, and aunt. And we also always get a stocking full of chocolate, so I got that, too.

My boyfriend got me a case for my kindle, and the 4th season of dragonball z on dvd. XD

I am kind of puzzled that the one thing I asked for was a dirt cheap floor lamp for my dorm and my mom decided not to get it in favor of all these other things, I am guessing she didn’t believe I really wanted it. But maybe she is right, I do like my new mickey mouse pj pants a bit more than a lamp. :P

massive boardgame I’ve wanted for a long time, money, a shirt and some really great books - The Art of War (in Chinese as well as English, so it’s something to work towards as I learn Chinese), Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers, and the U.S. Army’s Counterinsurgency Field Manual
