hecatomb 8)

Serendipity.

mine was precocious. i chose it because when i was a kid, the neighbor's magnolia tree always got flowers before it even had leaves, and when my mom told me it was precocious, i didn't know what it meant. I could only think of mary poppins..."if you say it loud enough you'll always sound precocious"...

Upsilamba!

i put google.

I like words that were "verbed", but I guess that they could read it as the noun.

"dude"--- and i got in "
"haha "dude" owns!!!
wow you are awesome."

LOL that is one of the funniest things ive read on this site

mine i think was hubris

wow. everyone's putting all these complex words. i debated some of those, but ended up putting "how" (as in "how does this work" or "how to do this," etc.)

i put ephemeral. which is legitimately my favorite word. i remember seeing a thread like this a while back where like 8 people put defenestration

I put "vichyssoise" lolololol.
Hmm, my other stuff {did we ever make a thread for this? It'd be interesting to see what everyone put} waaas: favorite movie quote: "Show me the money!" from jerry maguire, and I think my favorite source of inspiration was "fear of boredom" geeeeez I am going be rejected. lol.

I used "absurd". I like absurdism and I think of an old british man saying it in my head, so...

Haven't applied yet but mine would be ubiquitous.

Bildungsroman!!!!!

Balderdash.

Götterdämmerung

It means "downfall" & the etymology is awesome: "German, literally, twilight of the gods, from Götter/i + *Dämmerung twilight"

@Poseur - I like your word solely because I'm a fan of Gone With the Wind (the book). Heh.

i put snazzy

i wasnt that concerned with putting a very complex word... and snazzy is my token praise word in conversation

Persnickety.

OMG I loove Bildungsroman--memories of frosh Lit class...

I put Starbucks

Inspire

and as for fav quote from the Matrix:

"There is a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path"

source of inspiration: looking out into the distance, through a window.
