I keep seeing REA and SCEA but only for stanford and I was wondering what these mean?

REA - restrictive early action
SCEA - single choice early action

It means you if you want to apply early action to Stanford you cant do it anywhere else.

SCEA lets you apply earlier to a school and you are not allowed to apply anywhere else besides schools that have a rolling admission process and/or a regular admission process. I also think you are allowed to apply to public or in-state schools early with SCEA but you may want to double-check that.
