What do you do once you run out of practice tests?

CollegeBoard only gives 8. Should I take Barrons after since those are a lot harder?

Yes, take those

You shouldn't run out of practice exams if you pace yourself properly. Taking a four hour exam, going over the answers, and evaluating what you could've done better takes a decent amount of time. You should be doing a significant amount of work between practice exams and hopefully seeing an improvement. The general consensus is to never take non-CB practice tests (though apparently the one in RR and the 5 in Gruber's are close to the real thing). Why take an unrealistic test?

Well there may be vocab words I dont know and it helps me hone my skills.

Try Princeton Review they have like 15, they're pretty close to the real thing..

mmm... i wont go against using PR, but there are Online Course tests and past QAS available. perhaps u can use online course tests, im saving the QAS for aug thru october ,to take em like actual tests. =] indeed they are lol

I would do the Barron's. More practice doesn't hurt even if they aren't the "real" tests. Other test prep books base their tests on the Collegeboard ones, so I don't see why you're only supposed to do the real tests.

^ Anyone can "base" a practice exam on another exam. It doesn't mean the questions are going to be accurate. Neither PR nor Barron's has accurate tests for the SAT, so neither book's practice tests should be taken.

I agree with the advice in jamesford's first post (definitely need to take time to review), but not his opinion in his last. The PR tests are the next best tests after BB. They were right on target for me.

retake the BB ones. haha i can take one after a week minimum because i forget them right after i finish and the next time i take them they are like brand new tests. i'm not sure if that's a good thing though haha i'm supposed to learn from my mistakes. anyway this only works if you take it twice, i think you'd remembre smething if you take it 3 or more times.

^ i guess that might work lol. If u took the first test in like June.. ... and u finish the last one by like August or Sept... then u probably forgot the first test... (usually there are a couple of odd/annoying questions u remember)

actually don't take the same ones. You will subconsciously remember most of the right choices. Besides, if you're properly going back and relearning your mistakes, you should be getting perfect scores on past tests you've taken...
