What do you keep in your dorm fridge?

Milk, various kinds of booze, chasers, energy drinks, fruit cups. Once in a while sandwiches/leftovers from the caf or fast food.

Why so many alcohol people?

Shouldn’t you be following the law and waiting til 21?

^ I’ve drank with many police officers in my day. We are all usually wearing military uniforms at the time but still…

Can’t wait till I’m 21 though.

screw waiting until 21. thats why you get an id that says your 21.

^ Are you serious. Before you enter the bar you have to scan your ID.

^spydersix

a) not all bars scan id’s
b) some fake id’s do, in fact, scan. and blacklight properly. you just wouldn’t want to use it with a cop.

omgee this is a fun question!!!

  1. izee
  2. doubleshots
  3. amp red
  4. hummus!!!
  5. raspberries
  6. cheese
    yum

Alcohol, chasers/mixers, milk cartons (for cereal), fruits/veggies when I remember to get them from the Munchie Mart… alcohol…

there are people in college who ARE 21. just saying.

Some people don’t exactly see the law as something that’s absolute. What if there’s some unreasonable law, eg. Jim Crow laws? Would you follow those? Or, if a road has an unreasonably low speed limit and there’s no cops around, would you truly feel guilty for going 5 over?

In a global perspective, 21 is a really high age that was driven by MADD. In the past, the age was 18 for most states. It was MADD that lobbied to have federal highway funding denied to states that allowed alcohol for anyone under 21, which resulted in all the age 21 laws. Almost everywhere else, you can get alcohol by 18, and in several places, the age is even lower (eg. 14 or 16).

To be honest, I don’t see any reason to NOT have alcohol in your dorm other than the fact that you wouldn’t drink it anyways, or you have a huge fear about the cops.

Comparing the drinking age to jim crow is laughable.

lots of milk and lots of water, also some fruit

Sorry. I thought the 21 rule is unfair and too high. However, I think it’s necessary to follow the law.

not all bars scan, ive only been to a few that have. and you don’t necessarily have to have and id that is a fake. you can also use a real state issued id of somebody that you look like. then it would pass all the tests.

We had milk, leftovers (usually pizza), sandwich stuff, bread, cream for coffee, alcohol, and pizza rolls.

Do you know how good pizza rolls are at about 3am after a night of drinking? INCREDIBLE!

Oh and Jimmy Johns if it hasn’t already been eaten

In my dorm fridge throughout high school (boarding school), I always kept bagged salad and a thing of dressing. That sounds weird maybe, but sometimes I wouldn’t have time to grab lunch before class or I wasn’t hungry enough for a “real” meal or whatever.

Also, toaster strudel. The frozen kind that you heat up is the best – so much better than PopTarts. Put it in the toaster, grab a napkin and you can eat it on the walk to class.

Mmm toaster strudel is a good idea.

I buy bagged lettuce and eat it as if they’re chips. I’m weird.

what do you guys do with the milk?
with just 1-2 people drinking one half gallon of milk, itll expire by the time you finish

I drink a quart of milk a day, not even including any cereal eating or anything like that. shrug You can buy milk in quarts, and I think even pints, too.

I envy kids who get to boarding high schools instead of getting yelled at their parents by dietary restrictions(“No you can’t have soda!” ***?)
