What do you plan to do after undergrad?

I quite agree, sabu. Still, all the people I know in the States have not gone through a major change of plans. And none of them has pursued a different major than the one written on the application. Just a fact.

AND FINALLY one day fly to Moon/Mars.

By then, we're going to be able to fly commercial to the moon.

As for never being able to to law, I thought along the same lines too. I'm like there's no way in hell I'll get through law school, there's no way in hell I'll be able to sit through the bar, there's no way I can get up in front of a judge and argue my client's position, there's no way I can write long, nasty, gnarly merger agreements. Until I decided that I suck at daytrading. Come back in 2020 and ask me and shreya. We'll have done all of the above, and we'll have kicked butt.

^ I am working on that precisely. Commercial travel to moon :) Visit: Lunexplorers - Home

My dream is to work with Shell :)
I'm environment-obsessed.

Oh! So am I polydentate :D

Count me as a part of the environment club as well! :D

You guys can work on an alternate fuel for our jet propelled vehicles :D

Oh sure! :D Alternate fuel FTW!

You can start on those electric cars first :D

If you need representation, shreya and I are so available.

:D Lol! Sure... Not a bad idea!

Rereading posts i realised i didn't even give a proper account of my carefully well planned future! :D

here it goes-
Do a double major in Economics and English.
Then go to law school.
Do a job for 5 years and pay back student loans.
Comeback to India and become a lawyer for the U.N.
Start writing articles for the Hindu.
After 20 years- leave my job as a lawyer and become a full time famous columnist.

yeah all dreams- but then dreaming is the first step right. :)

Yep! Dreaming is the first step to success :D

enough smileys! my eyes are hurting now!

Ah, but old habits die hard Ajay.....

In the meanwhile, I've got a paper due in 3 weeks that involves me reading the entire National Labor Relations Act, which could be anywhere between 100 and 300 pages. Excuse me while I go cry myself to sleep.

Awww.... Its ok.. Most of us are in the same boat.. I for one, have my chemistry finals this saturday and its positively bugging me!! :(

Yeah, I'd rather have to read the entire NLRA.

I wish it gets over soon!! And waiting for the admissions decision in the meanwhile just adds to the tension :(

business studies on the 4th for me ...............started the ****ty process of memorising every chapter. i am so unmotivated :(

Ah so am I... Everytime I start studying, something distracts me. I am thinking of pulling the plug off my laptop for a week.. Oh, I just remembered, it would still work :( Sigh, this is going to be a long month
