Woah… There’s probably some truth to this. I’ve looked at the scale like 1-5 is downright ugly, while 6-10 is the real attractive scale, and 7-8 is average. But it should be that 5 is average. I think rules should be established for this before asking people to rate ;).</p>

<p>I know some people who are 1’s and 2’s, but they could probably make it up to a 3 or 4 if they would actually take care of themselves and wear something decent. That’s the problem with this whole thing - most people are not stuck in the 1’s and 2’s unless they’ve been in some kind of major accident that completely burnt off half their face or something.</p>

<p>apparently you guys never heard of the 1:1.618 ratio. Google it. It’s the “beauty” ratio of humans. Began with Pythagoras and further researched by many renown doctors today. (for ex. the ratio of the width of your nose to your mouth is a perfect 1:1.618. The length of your legs to the length of your lower torso etc etc). Of course, this if if you’re beautiful.</p>

It was assigned to us in bio class (in hs). It’s no coincidence that my face (And my gf’s) fit virually perfectly into the mask. </p>

<p>Why would you assume we haven’t heard of that? I learned about it in Algebra II. It’s just a theory, just an opinion… I personally don’t find the “perfect ratio” faces that attractive.</p>

<p>I think of it as 5 = average, 1-2 is ugly, 3-4 just below avg, 6-7 above average/attractive, 8-9 very attractive, 10 = HOT! </p>

<p>oh, and whoever said a lot of 2’s could look much better with effort, so true. not that looks are everything, but it’s good to at least take care of yourself…</p>
