What do you think about my school choices?

hey - I'm basically adding some more information to a thread I posted earlier (I have my SAT scores now),

I'm from Israel, almost 21, and applying to undergrad in the States. My academic stats are pretty decent (3.7 GPA, 112 on the TOEFL, SAT (one sitting): 1440/2180 (CR:660 M:780 W:740) and I have a lot of leadership experience, work experience, and EC activities (i served in the IDF). I'm very sociable, get along with everyone, and I like to have fun and party but I also want to be in a decent academic environment and around interesting people. I'm demonstrating a significant amount of financial need (can afford around 8-9K$ a year) and applying to these schools, which offer quite a bit of aid to international students:
1. Bates
2. Bucknell
3. Claremont McKenna
4. Colby
5. Colgate
6. Davidson
7. Hamilton
8. Kenyon
9. Lafayette
10. Trinity
11. Union

note that macalester and grinnell are excluded from my list because i am not interested in them.

any schools on the list you think I shouldn't apply to / any suggestions for more schools to look at? ANY thoughts will be much much appreciated.

Thanks!

any thoughts guys?

i am also considering dickinson - any comment would be much much appreciated!

Just curious, do all these schools on your list guarantee to meet 100% of the need of international students? With the price tag of over 50K/year?

You look like you have a good shot at all of those colleges to be honest. CMC is hard but yeah. Like SLUMOM said, you should probably be shooting for the schools that have 100% need-based-aid. I don’t want to look those up but I know Hamilton has 100%. If you’re interested, I know off the top of my head Vassar and U of Rochester have 100% as well.

hey guys,

thanks for your responses. all the schools on my list either give out a lot of money in scholarships / meet 100% need for internationals. this was my main consideration in choosing these schools. which schools do you think i have a good shoot at and which are reach? by knowing that, i might be able to decide on an ED choice…

thanks!
