Is there a chance your daughter would qualify for merit aid? What is her GPA? What is her SAT or ACT score?
You mention LACs. There are some less selective ones where she might get decent merit aid IF her stats are sufficiently high. But then…you would have to pay the balance.
thumper1 There are a couple of colleges who informed her of the automatic eligibility for merit scholarship. The amount is of course unknown. It is critically important for her to secure them. But there are a couple more schools we want to apply for aid to.

If the scholarships are automatic and guaranteed, they are based likely on SAT or ACT score and GPA…and the amounts would be published on the websites.
