What does 1860 equate to in old SAT?

What would a score of 1860 equal by the old point system? Is there any way to figure it out? Thanks!

If we use the 2/3 method, approx 1240.

Just add up your math and verbal, minus writing

I think he/she means like how will colleges look at...I think he knows to just add up the math and verbal.

Thanks, that is just what I meant! My son's score were 660 verbal/610 math/600 writing. He was thinking this equaled about a 1300, but I can't figure it? Thanks anyway!

I thought OP was asking what the exact equivalent would be using the old sysem, otherwise how could we "figure out" how a college would look at a score? :p

gexxman is correct. 1860 would've been 1240 on the old sat.

CONVERTING
To find the Old Score multiply the New Score by 0.666
To find the New Score multiply your Old Score by 1.5

It is important to remember that the new score consists of 3 parts (Math, Reading and Writing), whereas the old scores were only based on two (Math and Verbal), so whilst calculations give a good idea of equivalents, they are not really comparable.
