What does "BABA: January before Fall, Rolling" mean?

Hi everyone,
I am a transfer applicant to UF’s BSBA-IST program for the fall 2020 semester. Looking at the transfer information page on the Warrington page it says the following underneath “Application deadlines and decision dates”; “BABA: January before Fall Rolling”. What does this mean for me? I noticed that BSBA results are to be released the first week of May(with no rolling) , and final transcripts are also due the first week of May. This is a problem for me as I will not be complete with the last 3 of the 7 business pre-reqs until the spring semester ends for me (May 4th). The grades are not typically posted onto our grade-book until the Monday after the semester ends. If it matters, I already have 4 of the 7 pre-reqs complete going into the spring semester. . While I am confident that I will pass the courses, what does this mean for my application?

If you’re applying for the BSBA (and not BABA), then it doesn’t mean anything to you. They will make the annoucement in the first week of May. If you don’t get accepted, then you could be accepted at any time after May 1’st into the BABA program (that’s the “rolling” part).

Rolling means they announce acceptances during a time period and not all on the same day or week. For BABA, they start annoucing decisions in January, but keep on going till some time after April 1st (the deadline to apply).

That’s fine, the fall admits are always taking pre-reqs in the spring, before enrolling. Your acceptance will be conditional, based on how you do in the spring term. If you do poorly, they could resend the offer.

Good Luck!
