A scholarship application I am finishing up is due on December 1st. The website states, "The deadline for high school seniors to apply for entering freshman scholarships is December 1"

Does this mean that the application cut off will be on 12:00 a.m. December 1st or 11:59 p.m. that evening? I would like to have additional teachers proof read my essays before submitting them, and an extra day for this on Monday would be great.

Anyone have experience with this?

Here is a link to the site.

Um…I hate to say this…but why didn’t you have your teachers read this two weeks ago.

It is like,y that they want to receive everything by Monday. Are you even sure your teachers can give YOU this extra time on Monday…? Not much notice to them either.

The deadline should be 11:59pm of 12/1/2014. Best to call the school on Monday.

And if you have any other deadlines this application season…beat not to wait until the eleventh hour to complete the task.

What happens if you go to submit Monday, and you have some computer snafu? You’ve left yourself NO wiggle room.

I’ve seen schools that have 5pm deadlines on the their due dates, so check…and check to see what time zone the deadline is in.

I understand, I procrastinated with this application and it is 100 % my fault. I have already spoken with the teachers that are reviewing them and they are available to look them over. Thank you for the answer.
