<p>Does this encompass everything from school related stuff to extracurricular achievements? My school doesn't really give out big awards - teachers write certificates of commendation for hard work, good projects and significant improvements etc but they're so common at my school they're not really that distinctive. I've probably gotten about 20+ of them over the last couple of years. So I don't really have any academic awards as such...will this hurt my app?</p>
<p>Do things like sports count? My varsity girls' basketball team were regional champions last year but I'm not sure if that counts 'cause it's more of a team thing than individual so I'm not sure if that qualifies...What about piano & music theory exams?</p>
