What does that mean?

Does it mean that the admission officers will take your best individual sections of the SAT (although taken on different dates) and then combine them.

For example, I took the SAT twice:

Jan:

Critical Reading: 680
Math: 640
Writing: 590
Total: 1910

Jun:

Critical Reading: 660
Math: 710
Writing: 720
Total: 2090

What would my superscored SAT score be?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

Superscore = adding the best scores of each section

Your superscored SAT would be: 680 + 710 + 720 = 2110

Thanks for the quick response.

I had no idea that was called superscoring.. I know it as " college board's scam to get you to take that devil test a thousand times so that those 10 extra points will give you peace of mind when you apply to that school, where, regardless of your scores, you had no chance of getting into, but then, by some miracle, are accepted into, but lack the capacity to pay full ride and thus have to settle for the less prestigious, but no less amazing, school"...yeah...long name ,huh? ( btw, this isn't some bitter personal anecdote, I actually got into one of my top choices haha)
