What does it Really Take to get Admitted to Harvard

ok, corranged, did you mention a spanish essay? are you in ap? im in spanish 4 right now and we never ever come close to writing an essay. at the most we write 15 extremeley easy sentances. lol my spanish class does a ton of busy work. its great lol.

Wow, really? We've been writing "essays" in Spanish since Spanish 2. Or before. I don't know. It's very important to get writing practice, though! Hace milagros para su espanol :)

"Ace, how so, with Cambridge? Out of curiosity"

Nah only kidding.. but you know one of the reasons they might not have let you in is because you're only 16 and they don't like letting in people who are too young. If you get in touch and ask I'm sure they'll offer you some feedback on why you didn't get in - let me know what they say if you do!

Heh, they'll tell you? That's awesome :) Maybe I'll do that soon.

I've heard of universities doing so - don't take my word for it, but you may as well try it as you have nothing to lose :)

hey guys sorry for my mysterious disappearing post... your guesses were more or less right, the EC kinda gives away who I am, but the main reason I axed the post is because it seemed kind of obnoxious. ;) So yeah.
PS
I'm a girl.

Oops, sorry for messing up your gender.

And I doubt it was obnoxious, but your choice. :)

We don't have AP languages at my school. We've done long compositions (essays, reports, etc.) since third year, and we did two paragraph things in Spanish I and II. They're boring. :)

OK. I have a stupid question for anybody who knows. You know how a lot of places ask whether you're on any medication? I take this medicine for five days every couple months; does that count? When people (dentist, eye doctor, etc) ask, am I supposed to say yes or no or explain or what?! I've never really known. lol :p

Sounds to me like you're on medication ;) But, specify if they ask, lol

Is it just me or does that sound like birth control?

Yeah, because, you know, lesbians and birth control go together like Chicken McNuggets and fries.

I used to take an asthma/allergy medication approximately that schedule. Medications are private business, though, so maybe we should cut this convo short.

I just answered a thread on the Yale forum about someone who was freaked out because he got a single C+ quarter grade after three straight years of A's. I was like, "Dayum, straight A's and you're worried about the only C+? Parents pressure ya much?" ;)

You guys really like my private life, eh? :p

Yeah, so I've always just said "no." I guess that was the wrong thing to do? Thanks, folks. :)

You're going to die now!

Oh, and Duality? Birth control is a daily pill, with five sugar pills mixed in. If a girl is only taking it every couple months, you may want to call up Toys 'R' Us and get shopping. ;)

Oh, two posts. That doesn't constitute "really like" ;)

EDIT: And PorSK beat me to it but, yes, most of your past and future medical problems are likely due to your answering "no" to that question. Sorry :(

Two posts by whom?

Telling doctors "no" is a bad idea. Telling Harvard "no" is acceptable.

Yeah, I'm sure my denist is going to give me some toothpaste that will mix with the medicine I hardly ever take, and I'll have a stroke and DIE. Goodbye Harvard! ;)
