What does Pre Health Science mean?

<p>When i applied to UW i applied as:</p>

<p>Pre Health Sciences, Biology (Molecular, Cellular & Develop)</p>

<p>I got in, and on my un offical transcript it says Major:Pre Health Sciences. and i have no idea what that means....
Does this mean that I am going to do biology, or can i do something else while i do pre-med like lets just say biochem?</p>

<p>Please help i am really lost, Thanks.</p>

<p>Pre-Health Sciences simply means that you have not been officially accepted into your major yet, as are most entering freshmen. The majority of the majors at UW have prerequisites that you have to fulfill before you are officially placed into the major of your choice.</p>
