Mine hasn't come in the mail yet, and I'm really excited to know what's in it!
Can someone give a detailed description of what's inside it?

I don’t remember much being in it for ED.
Acceptance letter.
Forms to fill out with instructions on sending a deposit check.
Info on upcoming dates like housing.
The standard Wash U brochure

It maybe different for RD. Probably info about visiting Wash U on a weekend planned for accepted students in April.
The best info is online thru Pathway. There will be a link to First Year Center on your Pathway home page. That has info about Summer weekends for different colleges.

But someone on another thread said something about a binder. So they send a 3-ring binder?

Yeah you get a UPS box with a washu binder with all the info in it. So exciting :D

Oh yeah the green binder. Not much in it. You can use it as you get more information. It does have a financial section that explains all the payment options.

Does anyone know if the RD acceptances get the binder? And does it come by UPS or the post office?

Do we get a letter in a standard business envelope sent first or is does the UPS package have everything in it? Thank you in advance :)

I got mine today–Live in Missouri so close by.

It comes from UPS and was labeled 2 day shipping. Was a package, not a binder–Containa acceptance letter, information about next steps, and payments options (no specific financial aid, thinking that will be available online shortly).

I got mine! I was a little disappointed–there wasn’t anything really exciting inside. And there wasn’t a green binder. To ED applicants who got their stuff earlier: do we get any swag later on? I love me some free swag :P

We got the binder. You can have mine if you want :)

We got t-shirts! :)

I think there was also a car decal and a key chain and maybe a few other things. I think they will send you the stuff once you commit to attend/send in your deposit.

Hmm…maybe we will be showered with gifts at Finalist Weekend. I’m looking forward to that! (to Finalist Weekend, not to the showering of gifts. I don’t care about gifts.)
