What engineering colleges?

I want to apply to a place with decent engineering program. i havent decided on which kind but i would like to know which colleges in general. the second problem is that my stats arent that great.

3.7 GPA
~6 ap classes
1810 SATs
2 years with ultimate frisbee team
4 summers volunteering at salvation army
1 community college class for physics
i can probably find some more extra curriculars but thats all i got for now.

what colleges should i apply to/expect to be able to get into that have decent engineering programs.

Most large state schools have decent engineering programs. What would your state flagship be? Also cost needs to be considered. What can your family afford?

[ABET Accredited Programs Search](http://www.abet.org/AccredProgramSearch/AccreditationSearch.aspx)

I second Erin’s Dad’s comment, and would also like to know what state you live in.

What can you afford? Where do you want to go to school? There are some very good schools that you can still get into with your stats.

california, for the most part, money will not be a problem. my immediate family is low income, we have money saved up and also i can get money from my greater family. if i could get in i could probably pay for harvard etc. but obviously with my grades and SATs that isnt too much of a choice.Pretty much my family can pay for almost any sticker price with or without loans, but obviously financial aid would be nice to have.

Not much preference for size or place, well preferably in north america.
Im already apply to UCs and Cal Poly. More specifically im looking for privates with good/renown for their engineering programs.

most colleges have decent social life so im not too weary about that.

Take a look at RIT, Rose-Hulman, perhaps University of Utah there are many others out there that take students of your caliber the ABET acredidation list is a good place to start.
