Here are some details from my application. Which details do you think would increase/decrease my chances?
- I am applying for 10th grade.
- I am from a small town in Colorado. Would this count as geodiversity?
- I am not applying for financial aid.
- I have close friends attending the schools I applied to, they are mentioned in my application and many of my interviewers knew them personally.
- I am have a tri-citizenship (Vietnam, U.S.A., and Ireland).
- I have a book review blog with around 200 followers.
- I play the piano. Scored superior plus on National Guild Auditions and got a recommendation from my tutor.
- I snowboard competitively, and made a video demonstrating what I know. I don't know if this would be helpful since snowboarding isn't something that's recruited, but hopefully it stands out.
I got 92% on the SSAT (which is slightly low), but I have a 4.0 GPA, which hopefully means I am secured academically. Of course, the applications have been submitted, so this post is mainly to calm myself and reflect on the process. Thank you
