What famous people are you related to?

I'm bored and maybe you are too, and I was wondering if anyone knew some interesting people who are related to them, like people in history, science, math, english....etc.

For Me:
Stonewall Jackson
John Wilkes Booth
Cyrus McCormick
Andrew Jackson
the McCain potato guy
some guy who discovered an element (Fred Allison maybe? I forgot his name)

how do you corroborate this?

Ditto.......

Tony Blair's wife is related to John Wilkes Booth. So, consequently the little Blairs are related to him. And Tony Blair is my husband, even though he doesn't know it, so hey, we're related. :)

In all honesty..well, I have a great-great grandfather who might have been an Irish terrorist on the flee from the crown? But probably not. Except I will one day be famous, and I am certainly related to me.

I have a large large large southern family... and the two closest in relation is Booth and S. Jackson.

Way back on my mom's dad's side of the bloodline is probably the guy who invented paper.

george bush is my dad

Ok, I thought this game would be fun for a bored person... oh well, I researched my lineage back in seventh grade, I guess most people never have.

This is really anecdotal, but my mom claims it's true:

Suposedly, my great ancestor was the indentured servant who fell off the Mayflower in excitement when he saw Massachusetts the first time.

Me. /commeeennnnnts/ :)

it's backslash chaostheory

I knew that. :p

A South American president, who was assassinated. I'm not going to go into details, he wasn't famous, but he was president so there.

Some distantly related person on my mom's side was an important member of society in the Les Cheneaux Islands (in Michigan). There's an outdated family tree in the back of a book about them and thats how I found out my dad is my mom's second husband. (It was kind of funny actually...I was looking at the family tree and then thought "Wait...that's my mom....but that's NOT my dad.....")

Oh and in class today, we had a whole discussion about how my Precalc teacher is related to Mary Cassatt. I was the only one in my class who knew who she was. It saddened me.

Interesting. William Bradford is 13 generations back for me. There is a sizeable chance that we might be slightly related.

I'm related to James Joyce. , and some old irish tribal kings back in the day.

Umm..... Noah!

God. He's pretty famous, isn't he? :D

Not as famous as Noah.

Who's Noah? ;)
