What foreign language would go along well with my career/major choice?

I'm not sure if this is the correct section, but hell I'm posting it anyways. :D I asked a question about the college I should go to, and somebody made a rather interesting suggestion.

I want to be an Entertainment Convention Manager (movie/tv show/book conventions), and the person suggested that I take a minor in a foreign language. I actually think this is an awesome idea because there are a lot of convention's that jump around states and even countries.

So now I'm wondering which language I should start learning. Mandarin came to mind, but most conventions designated to that country are not the type of events I want to work with; they're more business centered. I crossed that one off my list and actually did some research. It turns out that the most popular countries for these types of events speak mostly German, French, or Spanish (obviously English too, but I speak that ;D). I already know Spanish fluently since my family is from Spain, so I've narrowed it down to either French or German... Any suggestions? :O

I'm completely stuck on which one would be most useful, so what do you think? I'm majoring in Marketing, with a double minor (foreign language and hospitality management).

Thank you for your help! :)
Xoxo

For research maybe look to see which offers a more profitable market. And which are more prolific in their media output. Otherwise, go for the one that you’d be happiest spending a lot of time speaking in, listening to news broadcasts in, reading their news website, and soliciting business.

I did French and German at school. I felt French was for me. I have since visited the country a couple of times and French speaking Belgium. It felt really alien to me. I also did a couple of trips to Germany. I want to explore it more. I want to be able to converse with my friend’s mum on my next visit. So I signed up for a class this term to give it a second chance. I’m loving it. Our whole adult class is great fun and supportive and many have sons and families who’ve migrated over there for work. So we all have personal motivation to learn.

French would be easier for you to learn as a Spanish speaker. And has the advantage of also applying to many African countries which may prove a developing market for you.
