Right now many forums are only showing posts back to mid-March 2012. Is there a problem with CC that older posts are not showing up?

If you scroll down to the bottom of a page in a forum, you’ll see a “Display Options” section. There are three drop downs there, “Sort By”, “Sort Order”, and “From The”. The “From The” defaults to the Last Month which limits the age of the threads displayed. You can change this to from the last year, 100 days, or several other options.
You can also go into My Control panel -> Edit Options
In there you’ll find a setting for “Default Thread Age Cut Off” where you can set your preferred time frame globally.
