I was recently accepted EA into Harvard class of 2021.
Sorry- this is a personal issue for me as my family have a few problems with their status.
I am a international student—What happens after I accept a offer?
Apart from getting a US student visa, will there be more enrolment forms, personal information, financial aid forms, or any kind of documents needed before I go to the US, or when I arrive at Harvard? such as parent’s passports, extra financial aid forms or identity proof etc
I have applied for my personal passport so that should be fine but are there any documents in general that need to be submitted after I accept an offer? or filled when I get to campus?
Go to Harvard’s website for international students: http://www.hio.harvard.edu. Under each heading (VISAS, TRAVEL, EMPLOYMENT, LIFE AT HARVARD, TAXES & SCOIAL SECURITY, GUIDES) are pull-down menus with links, information and forms you will need to complete.
If you have any questions, the International Advisor for Harvard College is Tana Ruegamer (tana_ruegamer@harvard.edu). I would email Tanya with any questions or issues you may have when Harvard re-opens on January 3rd.
Did you get a snail mail yet? It has an admissions certificate and a timeline of all the stuff that has to happen. But it wouldn’t be surprising if it took a long time to arrive internationally. I believe here are also instructions for international students. Gibby’s lead is a great one
There is a pre enrollment program for international students too called the FIP that is no charge and really sounds valuable.
