I have a really close family friend who went to Tulane. What would happen if I put them down as a family member? Would Tulane be able to find out?
@colleggeapp11 - the benefit of having a ‘family member’ as an alum does not outweigh the potential detriment that lying on your application could have. But… that is just my opinion.
The DNA police will break down your door to get a corroborating sample.
Unless the family member is a direct ancestor, immediate family member, or mega-million dollar donor, it probably won’t count for much.
