"What I wish I did in high school..."

If I could redo my high school years, I would do this:

Get a better haircut than the ones I had

Become an atheist on the first day

Be a lot less passive to bullies and less awkward to others

Don’t try to ask ANY girls for phone numbers/dates. It would save me some embarrassment. Girls were not attracted to me.

Stay away from athletics. I was never good at sports and the jocks and coaches were *******s.

Learn my guitar more

Don’t ever try to dance.

Study and do homework better

Save up for a camcorder and editing software

Lose weight

Stay a lone wolf. Any friends I make will eventually stop talking to me

I’m only a sophomore, but I wandered onto this forum so:
If I could redo high school, I would:

 1. Not slack off in freshman year…this year I started working much harder and my average went up 3%
 2. Be more involved in clubs that I actually like
 3. Study for an AP in freshman year

Only a Junior. I’d probably redo high school too lol

Should have taken all the AP’s and Honors courses available to me. Was not college oriented AT ALL until early this year. :frowning: This will be the bane of my college apps… I’ll probably not get into my dream school because of it.

Take a CC course every summer leading up to Senior year to get ahead in Math.

Study for the SAT during the beginning of my Sophomore year.

Think about college and find out where I really want to go to during the beginning of my frosh year. Then work my ass off to get good grades in challenging courses.

So ya, that’s my biggest regret right now. The rigor of my soph/junior years are really low for the schools I’d love to attend. If I could go back in time, I would stack up on all the AP’s and honors available and work just as hard. Hopefully the strong rigor of my senior year will somewhat compensate… /:

I should have started worrying about getting good grades earlier (freshman year instead of sophomore year) and I should have studied more for my first SAT (November 2012)
