<p>My daughter’s first grade teacher, whom we still see from time to time, told us a very encouraging story about her oldest daughter. She really wanted to go to BC, but did not get in, so she went to another Jesuit school, and followed the BC first-year curriculum as closely as she could. She did very well, and as soon as she was elible to reapply to BC (I forget the particulars), did so and was admitted.</p>

<p>I must say, I did wonder what kind of paper the OP is writing, and what kind of value there is in what a bunch of strangers on an internet message board (who may or may not be telling the truth) have to say.</p>
<p>But I thought it was a kind of interesting discussion anyway.</p>
