What if you just suck at standarized testing

good job, quietboy! :)

I think it depends on your stress level with the ACT... i am a 1320 SAT I, but the first time i took the ACT's i only got a 29. That was in june of my junior year (lots of stress)... then i took them again this sept, and didn't study or stress at all, and i got a 33.

The one complaint i hear about the ACT is that no one ever has enough time. I think that that is sort of true for the sci and reading sections (32 and 35 respectively), but the english section i finished like 15 minutes early (36). i had more trouble with the math section though (29) even though i consider myself a very strong math student.

ALSO the ACT is supposedly better for girls, but i don't know if i agree with that. ( i am a girl)

Actually, males statistically fare better on the ACT than females.

Yeah, for me i was really interested in the subject matter of the fourth reading and i got caught up in thinking about how cool bees were and didn't answer any questions for that reading so i got a 27 in reading, 36 math, 36 science and 35 writing for a total of a 33. Sort of sucked but oh well, i'm not really stressed out about it.
