For my econ class, there are textbooks with and without aplia. Can someone
please tell me what they are and purpose?
do we really need them and is it helpful for class?
thanks

Aplia is kinda like -computerized testing.

You can read the textbook ,and do the assignments the teacher assigns and it’ll grade it for the teacher.

Depending on teacher they might award points/etc based on completion of aplia assignment your mileage might vary from teacher to teacher

Are you an econ major? If so you’re going to need Aplia in the future too. Aplia includes the an online version of the textbook so you should just buy that (not the textbook too). Most if not all Econ20A professors use Aplia for homework assigments, check the syllabi and ask the professor.

If you are an econ major, your next purchases of Aplia will be cheaper if you login the 2nd time you buy it.

You need APLIA.

Its your HW.

Buy the textbook/aplia package from UCI, because to purchase aplia by itself costs the same as the bundle that they sell at UCI.

In other words, if you’re buying the textbook used from someone else, chances are that APLIA will not be included. And now you’re stuck with purchasing APLIA from the actual site, which is the same price as the textbook/APLIA bundle at UCI bookstore.

Its online HW for Econ classes, I took it last year. Its stupid and annoying, but that’s the way the system works and there’s no way around it. Buy at the bk store, its cheaper than on the website.

It sells, Aplia code OR Aplia code AND text book.

ok cool thankss everyone. i guess i will end up getting one. Im a business admin major, so its required for that too?
