I couldn’t find much info on the research page and faculty pages but I was wondering what astronomy research is like at USC. What astronomy areas are explored and how difficult is it for undergrads (especially first years) to get research in the physics department? Also, if anyone can speak to the strength of the physics program and how that translates to grad school, that would be great.
