I am confused about the score reports on College Board. What is included in a score report? Are all SAT Subject tests, SAT tests, and AP scores from all test dates included? Or do I have to send them all individually?
With SAT and subject tests, CB sends all (of both) that are on file for you for any single order except for any test you specifically choose not to send.
To send AP test scores requires an order separate from the SAT’s but like SAT, all AP scores CB has for you are sent in a single order except for those you choose not to send. However, choosing not to send any scores is a little more of an elaborate exercise for the AP because you have to fill out a form online designating scores to be withheld and once submitted for a college, all future sends you make of future AP tests will also exclude the ones liste in the form. Also be aware that unlike SAT scores, you can cancel an AP score after the score is released and have it permanently removed form your CB record. Finally, if you will be applying to college, be aware that offical AP scores are not required for the purpose of determining admission. If you want the college to know your AP scores, you can self-report them in your application or an essay. The exception is that there are a small number of colleges that accept, for purpose of determining admission, AP test scores in lieu of SAT and ACT scores or SAT subject test scores, and if you choose to go that route you will need to send offical AP scores for admission. Otherwise, you need not send offical scores until after you are admitted and want your chosen college to give you credit for the course.
Thank you!!!
