Hi! To people currently attending Georgia Tech, how is life like there? I know it is the usual, but since I live in a totally different state, it would be fantastic to try to achieve some sort to of realistic glimpse. Is it super duper competitive? Does it have a lot of activities that students can do?

What is “Shadow Day”?
It is a visiting day put on by the Ivan Allen College
Georgia Tech has hundreds of clubs you can get involved in. Coursework is definitely time consuming, but there’s plenty of time to get involved in clubs or hang out with friends. There are people who are really competitive about grades, but for the most part it’s an environment where everyone wants everyone to succeed.
@gogeorgiatech thank you! That really does seem like me. The only problem with me is that I have terrible test anxiety, so my standardized tests are not really good. But, my grades are really good and I put a lot of effort on my essays. I honestly hope I do get in to Georgia Tech. I will probably go there if I get accepted!
