I just finished applying and they said I'd get a minerva account. What is it? WHen am I supposed to get it?

minerva is an online system that lets u do pretty much anything and everything as far as McGill is concerned. Check ur app status, pay ur bills, register for courses, apply for aid and scholarships etc. etc. I don't quite remember how I got it. But you will get it! :D

the website is www.mcgill.ca/minerva-students. They should send you your username and a default password.

As Tasnia said Minerva lets you:
*Submit and check the status of your applications
*Register for courses
*Pay your fees
*see your transcript
*register for graduation
*access the online course evals (? is this still the case? I forget, haha)

Thinking back, I think when you get the letter or e-mail indicating that they've received your application, you will be assigned a student ID and you can use that to set up your Minerva account (there will be instructions on how to do it). Assuming you get in and then choose to attend McGill, you'll use that account throughout your university time.

apparantly minerva and web ct is sold to universities by some company that developed it. Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts and possibly many others also use the same exact system. I was telling my friends how efficient a system we had here, and he told me how his was pretty cool too. Then we realized we were using the same exact thing.

oh, what it does? what he said ^

oops she.
