I got 31 in ACT and my GPA is 3.2. I want to get into NYU but I’m curious about my chance.

3.2 is not that good, sorry. But there are still other factors to look at. If you are some musical prodigy or have some incredible talent, don’t get discouraged. Try improving your GPA and see what can happen.
What program are you looking at? Some schools, like Stern, is significantly harder to get into.

There’s a very slim chance of acceptance, if any with a 3.2 GPA to Stern, but good luck!
I got a full scholarship to Tisch with a 3.2 UW GPA and a 2000 SAT/30 ACT, but that’s not Stern. Still, there’s hope if the rest of your application was stellar!
@Rougarou Tisch requires extracurricular talent and a portfolio, while Stern is nearly completely academic, but congrats!

It looks like they took away the mean/median unweighted re-calculated GPA, but I distinctly remember them being 3.9/3.74 out of 4 respectively. And yes I know they don’t make sense but that was what was reported.
