Hey all,

I thought I somewhat had my school route mapped out, in taking Business Administration and then going to get my MBA, but my friends brother advised differently, so I'd just like to see what you think.

He said that I should major in Economics for undergraduate studies, rather than Business, before going for an MBA, as that will broaden my studies and not keep me "stuck down a straight line of business-business". If you take Economics, then he said you leave yourself much more wide open for career placement as you do have that Business MBA strucutre, but also are well versed in the Economics field.

Does this sound like a better idea than my original thought of Business to MBA? One of the only things I'm worred about is that Economics is usually easier to get into, and not as reputable a program or faculty (Social Sciences/Arts) as Business/Commerce is.

Also, does anybody know where I could find a ranking of Economics programs kind of like the USNews Undergrad Business ranks?

Thoughts?

Thanks.
